Imagine your first day at Moonlight…

For most people, morning means alarm clocks and haste but not at Moonlight Retreat. Here, the morning starts once the scent of freshly baked bread finds its way to you in the soft expanse of your King-size bed. Sometime later, your personal bathrobe and slippers allow you to enjoy your second cuppa on the veranda, discovering just how different the Apostles coastline looks in the morning light, compared with the sunset views you enjoyed last night.

Inspired by your complimentary breakfast… or the whir of wild ducks taking to the air… or perhaps even the puzzled look on your dog's face having just seen a Kanagroo for the first time… your mind turns to planning the rest of your first day.

Being at the mid-point of the world famous Great Ocean Road, your options are almost limitless with several National Parks… Apollo Bay's restaurants… enjoy a close encounter with whales… heights of the Otway Fly, Cape Otway Lighthouse… wild Shipwreck Coast… fascinating fishing village of Port Campbell and that barely scratches the surface.

If the truth be told you may get no further than your private spa pool, or a few hours curled up with a book and a complimentary drink beside your roaring log fire… but at Moonlight Retreat, that's your choice to make. No-one intrudes on your privacy, unless you invite them to.

And the good news is even if you don't make it past the veranda, there's always tomorrow… or the next day… As you'll soon realise the hardest thing to do here is to pack and leave. After all… you can never get too much 'Moonlight' in your life.

Private Bed & Breakfast Suites at Moonlight Retreat mean we spoil you...

We know that for some people, the perfect escape may not include getting up to make breakfast.

That’s why when you stay in our private Bed and Breakfast suites, we do it for you.

Moonlight Retreat, set high on the Moonlight Head ridgeline, offers breathtaking views of pristine bush and the Southern Ocean. On a clear day, you can wake up to the 12 Apostles glistening in the morning light below you.

Each suite has private ensuite & balcony, one with a large corner spa. Luxurious King size beds, reverse cycle air-con, TV, DVD, tea & coffee making facilities.

Private guest entrance, (shared only with other B&B suite) leads into a fireside sitting room. All stays include full cooked breakfast, afternoon tea, complimentary sparkling wine and chocolates.

The option of Dinner Service means all you have to do is arrive, relax… and enjoy….

Responsible pet owners are welcome to bring their pet on a wonderful pet getaway and enjoy their company on holiday in the Moonlight Retreat Cottages.
